Heart Math is an institute which is doing research on role of heart in human life.

First video talks about how coherence of brain and heart prevents stress, produces more intuitive access and flow towards the work and solutions, make interpersonal communications effective and increase in health. It talks about the role of intelligence of heart in making decisions with much higher level of effectiveness. Qualities like compassion and appreciation increases this heart coherence.



Heart has a powerful influence on emotions, thinking and actions. It says that we usually over ride these intuitive choices because of our ego choices. As we practice more and more heart based living, we become more and more intuitive and hence making right choices, and understand others better too.


We can attain Personal coherence, social coherence and global coherence when we start dealing with hearts.

Each person’s thoughts, emotions affect their energy field and these individual energy fields impact the energy field of the whole.


They assert that heart emits EMF that change according to emotions and can be measured from a few feet away from the body. They also assert that heart has a system of neurons with both short and long term memory and their signal system to brain can affect our emotional experiences. In fact heart sends more information to brain than vice versa. Positive emotions help the brain in creativity and innovative problem solving.

An Interesting experiment on Intuition (Second video link)


They conducted an experiment in which subjects were shown random pictures which would create different emotional responses. They recorded the responses and studied them. They found that body responded a fraction of second before the image appeared before them, hence concluded that there is intuitive intelligence in us. But most importantly they found that the heart responded first, then the brain and then the rest of the body. So route of intuitive information was through HEART TO BRAIN TO BODY.

As more of Humanity practices heart-based living, it will qualify the ‘rite of passage’ into the next level of consciousness. Using our Heart’s intuitive guidance, will become common sense-based on practical intelligence.

When the soul is purified from the contamination of the five kinds of material air, its spiritual influence is exhibited.


Only from the Heart can you touch the sky

We all know that subtle qualities relate to the heart. We say “Kind Hearted”, “Good Hearted”, Courage, etc. Especially love, for it is in the heart that we can experience Oneness.

You remember ‘Beingness’ about which we talked in first article; well it starts from Heart because everything that flows into mind, flows through Heart. And we also talked about going beyond knowledge into the state of “Ultimate ignorance” (in the second article) also know as forgetfulness as quoted from Gita. Again Heart is the portal. It’s a portal to higher consciousness for mind to access.

From Heartfulness  comes Thankfulness and gradually leads to Forgetfulness.

Heartfulness is about being natural. It doesn’t mean we don’t use our heads, it only means that we don’t use our heads unnecessarily and also we don’t get into our heads.

It is normalizing the function of every faculty we have. It naturally creates balance and paves way for growth from inside.

Here comes the stage where we interiorize science and spirituality. Now is the time for experiment and experience. In this experiment we are the experimenter, we are the experiment, and we are the result.

One can Read the articles given, experience relaxation technique, meditation and meditation with Yogic transmission.

Transmission is the special feature of this meditation. First meditate without help of yogic transmission, make observations and note them. Then meditate with the assistance of yogic transmission. Make observations, note them. Compare both. It is purely experimental.

Take as many sittings as you want and explore further to deepen your meditative experience.

It is open for all above 15 years of age, although relaxation technique can be done by children of all ages, and is non-commercial in the entirety.

Although to do meditations with transmission, one has to register on the website and co-ordinate with a trainer, it is open for anybody to take sitting (meditation with transmission) without registering till 25st Dec, 2015.

You can try this meditation with transmission daily till 25th Dec 2016, preferably at 6:30 AM, or any other time during the day, from home or office, using the following simple steps.

  • Sit comfortably with your eyes closed. Be relaxed.
  • Gently focus on your heart
  • Start with a suggestion that the Source of Divine Light is within your heart. (Need not visualize any light, just a supposition.)
  • Pray that the transmission is being received and is pulling your attention inwards towards the heart
  • Meditate for 20-30 minutes.
  • If thoughts come, do not attend to them. Treat them as uninvited guests. If you get carried away by thoughts, and when you become aware of this, gently turn your attention back to heart. You can watch this short video for clarifications-https://youtu.be/FUQB6gYvNDI

Prefer sitting in meditation with transmission for 3 consecutive days at any time for 25 minutes, which will make the connection for transmission permanent. Meditate as many times as you want to further strengthen the connection and deepen the experience of meditation.
