Please click on the stars below to vote for your favorite photo and make them Winner of the Picture of the Month Contest. Please note – The winner of the contest is decided based on No. of Votes (N) x Constant (K1) + Rating (R) x Constant (K2) + Judge’s score (K3) = N.K1 + R.K2 + K3. A word of caution – If the No. of Votes received is comparable, with little difference in rating, Judge’s score tends to be the guiding one.

Photography Tip of the Month – By Mohammed Amir khan (B&F)
Check and Learn your camera settings
A DSLR camera has many options including shutter speed, exposure compensation, aperture, ISO, lens, etc. As a beginner it’s worth learning how to set your camera properly, and which camera settings matter the most, so you have the best chance to take the photos you want.
First, try practicing with camera modes other than full Auto. You won’t learn anything if your camera is making all the decisions for you. It might be confusing at first, but hopefully reading on information about three most important elements of photography i.e. aperture, Shutter Speed & ISO will give you a good head start.
