Winning Entry By- Mr. Sameer Behare (L&T ECC-PT&D)

Thank you, Mr. Tirumala Rao K (Senior Deputy General Manager -LMB), for being the Judge for this month’s POM Contest. We wholeheartedly thank him for his guidance and effort for judging pictures in this edition and look forward to his support in future as well.

Please click on the stars below to vote for your favorite photo and make them Winner of the Picture of the Month Contest. Please note – The winner of the contest is decided based on No. of Votes (N) x Constant (K1) + Rating (R) x Constant (K2) + Judge’s score (K3) = N.K1 + R.K2 + K3. A word of caution – If the No. of Votes received is comparable, with little difference in rating, Judge’s score tends to be the guiding one.

Photography Tip of the Month

Be aware of your surrounding

Look for interesting light, shapes, plants, textures. Think about unusual details, objects or people that contrast with their surroundings, dappling light patterns and interesting looking characters. The more photos you take, the more you’ll find yourself noticing the little details that make for a great photograph. When travelling, always think before photographing certain buildings or people – especially people whose culture may not encourage being photographed. If in doubt, always ask (or gesture, you know the one) for permission first.
