Indian team displayed mesmerizing game of cricket through out the world cup but failed to qualify for the finals. Sir Jadeja won the hearts and MS Dhoni played probably his last One Day International like a king. A billion heart broken but those hearts still bleed blue. As summarized by captain Kohli, 45 minutes of bad cricket spoiled 30 days of good cricket and that’s how competitive modern day sports is. But that is what it tells you, defeats are opportunity to learn, they are costly but if you learn and adjust, they could be of gain as well.

As we await Mansoon showers in Delhi along with respite from heat and dust, we bring to you an enriched edition of Enlightenment. As always there are articles covering wide spectrum. We have poems, bit of fiction, reviews, opinions, fun, something about commentary in cricket, travelogue and yes our favorite section of Picture of the Month.

We have seen that Indian cities are facing water crisis and it is worse than we would have imagined a few years back. It is high time we stop posturing about saving water and really do it now. Small steps will help. Not getting into much writing, just want to say, “Please save water. Whatever you can and spread awareness.”
