The Big Chill

Big chills area chain of cafes located in Delhi. The cafe started out in 2000 with Italian cuisine and desserts cafe. Presently, it has seven outlets.

For me the best one is Khan market.

wandered in with my sister and was immediately greeted by the friendly staff and incredible aroma of Italian food. The restaurant was filling up quickly by the noon time but we managed to snag a table.

The ambience is designed to give slightly retro look. The Walls are adorned with framed posters of Casablanca and Hollywood blockbusters Audrey Hepburn- Breakfast at Tiffany’s, fans anyone?

You’ve got yourself in for a Prefect Sunday brunch place!

After scanning the menu for good 10 minutes We ordered; Four- Fourth Pizza. As the name suggests , it has got four different types of toppings: Chorizo, pepperoni, ham and chicken. All that for a meat lover!  Paired with Herbs and so much cheese. Having paid homage to the Italian cuisine import “pizza”, we had  chicken Ravioli- bursting with minced chicken with super creamy cheese sauce topped with shavings of parmesan- outright spectacular.

For the ones sticking up to vegetarianism, without feeling the least bit deprived, Baked Penne Primavera and Baked Potatoes are inevitable.

Big Chill is also the destination that offers desserts, shakes, cup-cakes and all baked goodies. I would especially recommend Blue berry cheesecake, which was mesmerising.. the cheese simply melts in your mouth.

Though with a little nudge on the price ‘The Big Chill’ is a ‘Big Yes’ in the Capital !
