I look at her.

Studying her plains and the curves,

the plateaus and the dimples.

Hating more of what I see

than loving.

Brows furrowed,

she looks back at me.

This is not what you


the silent voice reminds me.

You vowed to love yourself,

accept your flaws,

to stop judging yourself.

I take a deep breath and

take a step closer to her.

Every atom in me makes me


My every thought, every emotion

is me.

It has reason to exist.

My tangible is entwined with

my intangible,

making me whole.

I am valid.

I raise my chin in


Satisfied, she looks at me

and smiles.
