I’ve been around dogs since my childhood and have always loved being in the company of our four-legged friends and for me they are more of a family.
I was 12 when I got my first dog, and 21 when I got second. They are nothing but amazing.
Does any being on this earth love life as much a dog? Whether they’re romping around chasing bugs or rolling over for belly rubs, our canine companions tend to savour each moment life gives them. So if we paid more attention, we’d realise there’s a lot we can take from our pooches on some spiritual enlightenment ; perhaps save trip to Himalayas. If you want to live life like your pup—and really, who doesn’t?—take at look at the best life lessons from dogs.
Live in the moment.
Too often we have many complex thoughts running in our minds. “Is the presentation I worked on good enough?” “what will I have for dinner ?” Did I consume enough water today?”. Pretty soon we are too worked up and often on the verge of a panic attack ! We forget to notice the world around us. Dogs meanwhile, live in the moment Whether they’re eating a bowl of biscuits or chasing a squirrel!, dogs live for the present moment. The past is gone. The future is unknown; Might as well live the spectacular ‘now’.
Don’t hold grudges
Have you ever stepped on your dog’s tail? Or got too late to feed them; forgot to take them on a walk? , then you know that is one of the worst feeling inflicted on them. And yet, A dog will never be angry with you. Humans are probably the only species that holds a grudge. Holding a grudge weighs you down emotionally and keeps you from moving forward in life. We humans could learn a thing or two from our canine comrades about forgiveness; once and for all.
You’ll never see a dog loving someone more for their physical appearance, their sexual orientation, or gender. (turns out our colourblind friends can’t even see the shades of our skin that well! ). the main orientation of the differentiation they have is good person from the bad one . It all comedown to our intentions and personality traits. If you see It’s all that simple to rely on someone.
Be loyal and dependable.
Dogs are pack animals. They stick with their pack. They understand better than any human that family isn’t our blood relatives all the time; it forms with people in our lives, whom we chose to stick with. And defend each other no matter what. This is a great reminder for all of us to be conscientious members of our pack. Being a loyal and dependable friend, lover, sibling, partner or parent will enrich your life in many ways
Unquestionable – Unconditional Love
No matter what, dogs are instilled with abundance of love in them, they give you warmest welcome from a long tiring day. They still want to lick your face off, even when you just asked them not to. And they will always want to snuggle in your lap; Apparently for them hugs are never enough!. Loving unconditionally is a difficult. But it’s the best you can try to do.
