Today morning I felt like crying

When I came to know about our Moon-Lander

That Vikram could not make it to Moon after all

It was so near yet so far.

Not that it matters in our daily life

Or could have transformed us overnight

But for a country deep with superstition

Achievements of Science is not that light

A billion hearts hoped against hope

To have the honour to join the Few

ISRO’s excellence had made us confident

Today’s dawn will give us something new

So when Vikram went silent

And we realised how near it was

Tears were out without we knowing

Our heart said, will be back at the first chance.
