August, named after Augustus Caeser-one who marked the beginning of Roman Empire, is the month which marked the beginning of the Enlightenment Web Edition. Enlightenment is celebrating its 2nd Web anniversary with this edition and would like to thank all the readers for their continuous support.

August has brought the much-awaited rains along, the earthy smell has tuned all the Indians for the 70th Independence Day of India. As AAP had promised, water has reached everywhere and that too in abundance (see the photo below). At the far end, Flash floods in Assam and Gujarat has tensed the nation.

Market places, mainly Chandni Chowk, Lajpat Nagar, Kamla Nagar and Karol Bagh appear at their colorful best as siblings indulge in the last minute shopping for the occasion, giving the feeling of Saddi Dilli. The Power of Rain has not only strengthened the brotherly sisterly bond, but also melded the broken alliance of Nitish Kumar and BJP. Now I guess we all know who antaratma was?

This edition is meant for all the read-oholics, grab yourself a cup of coffee and enjoy this weather with the web edition of Enlightenment.
