The Change of Guard Ceremony

Rashtrapati Bhavan

The Change of Guard ceremony is a military tradition whose origins are lost in antiquity. From time immemorial, guards and sentries at palaces, forts and defence establishments change periodically to enable a fresh body of troops to take charge. At Rashtrapati Bhavan, the Ceremonial Army Guard battalion is responsible for providing ceremonial guards and sentries for the President of India.

This ceremony helds every Saturday and will be open to the public who will only have to produce a photo ID at the place of entry to Rashtrapati Bhavan from Gate No. 2 near Prime Minister’s Office.

Comedy king of Bollywood – Asrani starring as Topan Lal in the modern adaptation of the classic comedy – The Miser by Moliere He is trying to arrange his marriage with an attractive young woman- Madhuri. A comedy of errors sprouts up when it is revealed that Topan’s son Shikhar is also trying to marry the same girl. Who stole the ten thousand gold biscuits is a mystery yet to be solved. The play is produced by Pranav Sachdeva and Ishan Soni.
