Stress & Life Style Management by Ayurveda & Yoga

Faridabad Campus organized Health Talk & Camp on “Stress & Life Style Management by Ayurveda & Yoga by Specialist Doctors from “JIVA AYURVEDA”, Faridabad in our premises.

A Talk was conducted on “How Ayurveda can help us to keep fit and health” by Dr. Mukesh Sharma, BAMS. He focused on the role of Ayurveda to stay healthy in daily life.

Yogacharya performed a session on “Office yoga steps to stay fresh and stress-free during office work”.

Various products were also available for sale at a discount.

Approx. 65 people had a free check-up done during the camp.


Free Advance Tailoring, Embroidery Skill & Medical Awareness Camps for EWS Girls and Women at Jaitpur, Delhi

Towards enhancing the strength of Economically Weaker section girls and women, Nai Umang – Prayas Trust, Larsen & Toubro – Faridabad has started various free vocational courses i.e. Beautician and Tailoring, Cooking Course, Television & Digital Media during 2017-18. Vocational programmes provide vocational skills to the needy people for self-empowerment. Many of our beneficiaries have either joined export houses / started their own Beauty Parlour and tailoring centers.

Based on the success of these programmes L&T-Faridabad – Nai Umang (Prayas Trust) has started Advance Tailoring & Embroidery Programme for EWS Girls and Women at Jaitpur, Delhi on 15th May, 2018 for Two Months in association with PHD Family Welfare Association, Delhi.

The Programme was inaugurated by Mrs. S. K. Lamba, President, Nai Umang Prayas Trust, L&T Faridabad along with Mrs. Madhumita Chaudhuri, Vice President, Mrs. Mala Mehta, Jt. Secretary, Mrs. Seema Akhauri, Jt. Secretary, other Nai Umang Members, Mr. R. Sitaraman, DGM – Project Implementation & Administration & Mrs. Sangita Dutta Das Senior member of PHD family welfare foundation.

SPECIAL INITIATIVE – FREE SUMMER CAMPS OF FUN & WORKSHOPS IN DIGITAL MEDIA, YOGA, CRAFT & PAINTINGS FOR BPL STUDENTS AT OKHLA SLUM AREA, DELHI

Based on the success of these programmes L&T-Faridabad – Nai Umang (Prayas Trust) has initiated Free Summer Camps on fun & Workshops in Digital Media, Yoga, Craft & Paintings for BPL Students in Okhla Slum Area, Delhi during 28th May, 2018 to 27th June, 2018.

The motive of the camp is to develop habits of staying fit & healthy and learn digital technology with play. Summer Camp will start with a Yoga session at 9:00 am every day followed by Digital Media training, Drawing and Games etc. up to 1:00 pm. Breakfast will be provided during the class at 9:45 am.

The Programme was inaugurated by Mr. R. Sitaraman, DGM – Project Implementation & Administration & Mrs. Sangita Dutta Das Senior member of PHD family welfare foundation. Other senior from PHD Family Welfare Foundation was also present during the inauguration ceremony.
