For all those who missed the much awaited evening in L&T Faridabad campus – “Yeh Shaam Mastani”, here is a quick recap on the events of the musical evening.1

Date: 30th July, 2016.

Time: 6:30pm2

Venue: Office Canteen.

Decor: Beautiful flowers and lights

Seating: Unique ground sitting arrangement, meant for people to relax and enjoy music.

Chief guests: Mr. & Mrs. Lamba.

Audience: Colleagues with their families.

Participants: All BU’s in the campus. External musicians were arranged for the occasion. In-House musicians were also there with their personal instruments.

Organising Committee: L&T Dhanush

1st anni3versary of TSTM was celebrated on that day with cake cutting ceremony (TSTM, a monthly event organised by team Dhanush for all music lovers in campus).

The evening started with a Sanskrit Hymn and then various performances including solos, duets, group songs, med4leys amused the audience. Old melodies, album songs, latest Bollywood chart busters were among the varieties of music presented by some of our talented colleagues and seniors. The icing on the cake was at the end when a group song was performed on “Vande Mataram by A.R Rehman”. Everyone in audience and performers were provided with Flag and all joined in making it sound more beautiful.

Snack boxes from Haldirams were arranged for the audience.

Overall, a nice team effort, a nice presentation, a nice arrangement made the Shaam very much Mastani. It was a nice experience being a part of the event as a performer as well as an audience. I enjoyed it to the fullest and I guess those who were present there will agree with me and are already counting on for next year.
