Some serious diseases with their symptoms and prevention are-

Dengue

Fever is a mosquito-borne infection that causes a severe flu-like illness.Dengue can be identified by symptoms like aching muscles and joints, body rashes, High Fever head ache and nausea and If case of dengue got severe and turned into Dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) its symptoms during onset may be mild, but gradually worsen after a number of days and may lead to bleeding from mouth/gums, internal bleeding, lower number of platelets in the blood.

Causes of dengue 

The virus is transmitted from an infected mosquito to a human. A mosquito bites a person who is infected with the dengue virus; the virus is then passed on when someone else is bitten by the mosquito.

Prevention of Dengue

Dengue is a virus, so there is no specific treatment or cure. However, depending on the severity IV supplement, Painkiller and blood transfusion for the severe case of dengue. There is no vaccine to prevent or medicine to treat chikungunya virus only thing that can be treated is the symptoms by getting plenty of rest, preventing dehydration, treatment of fever and painkiller.
The best way to prevent is by avoiding mosquito bites, Keep the surroundings clear of stagnant water or pools where mosquitoes can breed. Use of mosquito nets and close windows in the evening to prevent mosquitoes from entering.


Malaria

Its A viral that is transmitted by mosquitos with symptoms resemble those of flu, they may be undiagnosed or misdiagnosed in areas where malaria is less common. a sensation of cold with shivering fever, headaches, and vomiting Severe malaria case, however, have much fever and chills abnormal bleeding and signs of anaemia clinical jaundice and evidence of vital organ dysfunction

Prevention

The best way to avoid malaria is to avoid bitten by the mosquitos and use of mosquitos repellent and mosquito net is the best way to avoid this disease.


Typhoid

Typhoid, also known as typhoid fever or enteric fever, is an infection caused by the bacteria. Typhoid is usually curable, but some bacterial strains are becoming increasingly resistant to antibiotics.Typhoid is usually transmitted by water or food. If an infected person doesn’t wash their hands properly, the typhoid bacillus can be transferred to food or water and from there to another person. Also, it can be spread directly from person to person via contaminated fingers.
Symptoms
Symptoms usually appear 1 or 2 weeks after infection but may take as long as 3 weeks to appear. Typhoid usually causes a high sustained fever extreme exhaustion, constipation headache loss of appetite stomach pain

Treatment and Prevention

The primary treatment for typhoid, as for most other diarrheal diseases, is oral rehydration solution. Typhoid is also treated with antibiotics.Careful hand-washing prior to food handling will help prevent the spread of typhoid. Preventing typhoid is all about avoiding contaminated food and water.proper washing of food items and hand before eating and avoid street food.
